What is a "modular hymnal?"

A modular hymnal is precisely one that is suited to the user's needs and may change over time with as frequent as needed additions or subtractions. A common problem in parishes is that no one hymnal is best suited for any faith community. There are hymnals that are better than others, but none that contain exactly what a congregation needs and only that.

The Hildegard Hymnal project aims at solving this problem. It will provide all the possible music selections available free for download that is worthy of the Catholic liturgy. We also provide a page guide (coming soon) that will show how to make a modular hymnal and modify it. It will be a modest investment at first but will save money in the long run.
